About Peace China

Located at 802 Semart Dr #106, Raleigh, NC 27604, Peace China operates as a chinese restaurant serving Raleigh in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 am–8:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Peace China at (919) 833-8668; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, peacechinanc.com.

Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 431 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded chinese restaurants in Raleigh.

Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Raleigh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

My wife and I found a great place for great food. Wonderful flavors. From hot and sour soup to chicken and vegetables to beef and onions.

First visit ordered hot sour soup and 2 spring rolls. Spring rolls I ate outside the restaurant. They come with a delicious sauce. It's sticky, not spicy but flavorful. I actually wanted to get a dish with it on it. Nxt visit. The soup was fresh delicious lot of mushrooms and had bamboo shoots. Let me just say this, " I won't be purchasing hot and sour soup any where else." It was clean and I did receive a smile 😁 upon entering.

best chinese i’ve had in raleigh! everything was delicious and fresh and not too greasy. my favorites were the crab rangoons, tofu panang curry (the tofu has an INCREDIBLE texture, which is not easy to find), and the beef and broccoli. lo mein was also really good. we ordered delivery so i can’t speak to the restaurant, but our food was delivered very quickly! this will be our go to chinese restaurant in the future!

Wow! Peace China is a true hidden gem! The portions here are absolutely incredible - when they say generous servings, they mean it. My sweet and sour chicken could have easily fed two people, and I paid less than I would at other Chinese restaurants in the area. The value for money is outstanding. Not only do you get these massive portions at reasonable prices, but the food quality doesn't suffer at all. Everything was fresh, piping hot, and bursting with flavor. The fried rice alone could be a meal itself! I especially loved how they didn't skimp on the meat in the dishes - you get plenty of protein, not just filler. The leftovers made for an amazing lunch the next day. If you're looking for delicious Chinese food that won't break the bank and will keep you fed for days, Peace China is the place to go. A real bargain that doesn't compromise on taste or quality!

It was good, but I probably wouldn't go back. The general tso wasn't crunchy and kinda tough. The fried rice has good flavor but was pretty greasy. It was also a touch expensive for the price. The egg rolls were very good and crispy.
